Office for Community Development

Welcome to the Office for Community Development of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. The Office for Community Development serves as a catalyst to promote positive transformation in targeted communities throughout the Archdiocese. Founded in 2001, the Office for Community Development partners with other faith-based organizations, government agencies, and local groups to accomplish its mission.

The Office for Community Development of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia is a vital resource for neighborhoods. We are a catalyst that promotes revitalization and stabilization of communities. Our staff works with community leaders to identify strengths and provide resources to address each community's unique needs. From bricks and mortar projects to small business development; from resident safety to community outreach and organizing, the Office for Community Development restores hope and improves the quality of life in Philadelphia neighborhoods.
